Notre Dame Creamery Butter uses a conventional butter churn, which keeps the butters texture in the old fashion style rather than the whipped style. The conventional churn also allows small batch production which helps to monitor quality and consistency.
In 2008, Notre Dame teamed up with Organic Meadow to process organic milk. All milk in Manitoba under the Organic Meadow name is from one of four certified organic Manitoba dairy farms. In 2010, the two companies launched Kéfir, a drinkable yogurt; all of their Kéfir sold across Canada is made using Manitoba milk.
